CDD- Ghana launches research network
The Center for Democratic Development (CDD-Ghana), a non-governmental organisation with support from the South African Institute of International Affairs (SAIIA) has launched a research network for better governance of Africa's natural resources in Accra yesterday.

The Ghana Center for Democratic Development welcomes the inauguration of the Constitutional Review Commission on Monday, December 11th 2010. The inauguration of the Commission fulfills the Mills-NDC administration's pledge to initiate a process of constitutional review within the first year of its tenure of office in response to calls by some sections of the public for a re-examination of some of the provisions of the constitution. CDD-Ghana joins other Ghanaians in commending the government for taking this important step.

Failure to arrest culprits incentive for more violence
The head of Conflict Prevention, Management and Resolution of the Kofi Annan International Peace Keeping Centre, Dr. Kwesi Aning, has said that the inability and failure of the security agencies to arrest culprits in violent clashes, particularly in Bawku, has served as a great incentive for others to indulge in similar impunity.
