African Governance Outlook (AGO) to hold Validation Workshop
Date : 29-Mar-2012
In 2011, the African Development Bank re-launched its flagship report on financial governance, entitled the African Governance Outlook (AGO). The AGO is being implemented in partnership with the African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF). The strategic objective of the AGO is to provide an effective African-based diagnostic tool for financial governance that has a regional reach and involves national research and think-tanks. The AGO provides a mechanism to monitor governance performance and trends over time, promotes evidence-based policy dialogue, and informs the design of support to financial governance reform in regional member countries.
CDD-Ghana conducted the Ghana study through desk review, field research and focus group discussion. The Center in collaboration with ACBF and ADBF is organizing a validation workshop to share the research findings on the country report on financial management performance.
The workshop will take place on Thursday 29 March, 2012 at the Coconut Grove Regency hotel, Accra.
