8th Kronti ne Akwamu Lecture
Date : 03-May-2012
This year's Kronti ne Akwamu Lecture will take place on the 3rd of May 2012 at the British Council Hall. It will be delivered by Justice Emile Short, former Commissioner of the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ).
It is on the topic: “The quest for governmental accountability and responsiveness in Ghana: achievements, challenges and the way forward.”
The Kronti ne Akwamu Lecture is CDD-Ghana’s flagship annual public lecture on democracy and governance. It is one of the Center’s initiatives aimed towards bridging the gap between reflection, research and analysis on one hand, and pro-democracy and good governance advocacy on the other. The lecture is aimed at enriching the quality of public discourse on democratic and governance reforms.
The public is invited.
