CODEO holds General Meeting
Representatives of 34 civil-society organizations deliberated on the Electoral Commission’s preparations towards organizing Ghana’s first Biometric Voter Registration (BVR) later this month.
In a short presentation, Mr. Kojo Asante, Leader of the CDD-Ghana elections team, thanked the members for actively supporting the Coalition’s activities over the years. He said CODEO’s overriding interest is to ensure stability and prosperity in Ghana by ensuring that the processes leading to the elections are transparent, free and fair.
In his welcome address, Justice VCRAC Crabbe, former Supreme Court Judge and Co Chair of CODEO said the Coalition will help the electoral process to achieve credibility. He urged members to continue to sacrifice for the peace of Ghana.
