Mission Statement of CENCOR
Established to promote peace in Ghana and other West African countries, mainly through research, education and training.

Objectives of CENCOR

To serve as a secretariat for major peace initiatives

To undertake campaigns together with other networks and institutions, some of the focus areas being the participation of women in public life, the role of youth in conflict resolution, and peacekeeping education.

A brief statement of Activities

• Playing a leading role in developing and building support for proposals focusing on the control of light weapons in the West African region.
